Overview

Bleeps ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our web application and Chrome extension.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up, we collect your email address and name via Google OAuth or magic link authentication.

Chat Messages

Messages you send to Bleeps are stored to provide context for your AI assistant and maintain conversation history.

Tasks and Reminders

Tasks, reminders, and their due dates are stored to power your task management features.

Saved Content (Chrome Extension)

When you save a page via the extension, we store the URL and page title. We do not store the full page content unless you explicitly request it.

Integration Data

If you connect integrations (Google Calendar, Gmail, Trello, Slack), we access only the data necessary to provide the requested features. Access tokens are stored securely.

Chrome Extension Permissions

Active Tab & All URLs

Used to save the current page URL and title when you click "Save Page". We only access page data when you explicitly trigger a save action.

Storage

Used to store your authentication token locally so you stay signed in.

Gmail & Calendar Access

The extension adds helpful features to Gmail (create tasks from emails) and Google Calendar (view related Bleeps tasks). These features only activate on those specific sites.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Authentication tokens are stored securely and never shared.

End-to-End Encrypted Chats

Private group chats use end-to-end encryption. Encryption keys are stored only on your device and shared via invite links. We cannot read the contents of encrypted messages.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with third-party services only as necessary to provide features you've enabled (e.g., sending messages to connected Slack workspaces).

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your messages, tasks, and saved items at any time. To delete your account entirely, contact us at support@bleeps.ai. Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed.
